This month the observing will take place in Nonsuch Park.

To get there turn off the A232 (Cheam Road) down to the end of Bramley Road. We will meet by the railway bridge at the end. We will then carry our stuff a short distance under the bridge for the observing.

Bramley Road has a traffic island at its junction with the Cheam Road. It is on the left about half a mile from the school entrance, or on the left about a quarter of a mile from the roundabout if you are coming from Ewell.

Why not come and join us for a night with the stars? Bring your own telescope, or enjoy the opportunity to look through our members' telescopes. If you are trying to decide what type of telescope to buy, this will be an ideal opportunity to try a few out, and with experts on hand to show you how to find the best objects to view, you are sure to go away well and truly bitten by the astronomy bug...
One of our Observing evenings in early 2016

On the North Downs above Dorking we meet in the National Trust car park at Denbies field (also known as Steer’s field), on Ranmore Common Road. This site affords dark skies and a clear horizon to the south.

N.B. If observing sessions coincide with the User's group meeting they will be held at Nonsuch school.
